Pray for Renewal During Easter Prayer Vigil

In preparation for our Easter Celebration Service our regular Saturday Prayer chain will be expanded to a 24 hour Prayer Vigil from Good Friday, April 2, at 7pm to Saturday, April 3, at 7pm. We will all pray from home or wherever we are during that time.

We have so many things to pray about as we approach Easter. There are things to rejoice and celebrate over and there are problems and heartaches to pray over. Praying emphasis materials and lists will be distributed to everyone who signs up and will be available at the YACC office.

You can sign up for any half hour during that 24 hours. Those who previously signed up for the Prayer Chain that Saturday will already be signed up but you can sign up for more than one spot and of course more than one person may sign up for any one spot. The more people praying the better. Pastors and other leaders will be reaching out to give everyone the opportunity to be involved.

You may sign up on line. (See directions below) Or contact the office or let the person who contacts you know what time you wish to sign up for. We are using SignUp.com to organize our Prayer Vigil.

Here's how it works in 3 easy steps:

  1. Click this link to see our YACC Prayer Chain on SignUp.com: https://signup.com/go/XJdLAEj

  2. Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like on Friday April 2 or Saturday April 3.

  3. Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com. Note: SignUp.com does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact the office and we can sign you up manually.

This will be a great opportunity to get our hearts and minds prepared for Easter and future services at the church.

Easter Celebration at the Church Building

We will have extra reason to celebrate on Easter Sunday. We will have both services, 10:30 and 3:30, in the Family Life Center. The services will be different from our traditional services and not everything will be included. While they will be brief we plan for very meaningful services. Masks will be required along with other safety protocols. More details in later announcements.

The services will be available live streamed online through Facebook and YouTube for those who are not yet ready to attend in person. We rejoice for this opportunity to get back together in person again but recognize that not everyone will be comfortable with this yet. This is all dependent upon the downward trends in the virus numbers continuing. Let us celebrate the Lord's rising with joy and pray that we can get back closer to normal soon.
